This is a spectacular recipe for Baby Back, St Louis, or Country Style ribs. Follow along.....
Ingredients:
2-3 Racks of Ribs
Your preference of a binder (mustard, olive oil, etc.)
Butter
Honey
1 can of Beer or Dr. Pepper
Pman the Chef Sweet BBQ Rub
Directions:
Place two racks of ribs on a cookie sheet. Be sure to remove the membrane from the underside of the ribs using a paper towel. Cover the top of the ribs with a coating of your favorite binder. Then cover the ribs with a solid layer of Pman the Chef BBQ Rub. Place in the smoker for 3 hours @ 225degrees. Some folks prefer to spritz their ribs frequently with apple cider, apple cider vinegar/water mix, or just a little water. This will help create a good bark on the outside of the ribs.
When the ribs reach 165degrees, take them off the smoker and place on a double layer of tin foil. Put 3-4 blocks of real butter on the top of the ribs, dribble honey and a little BBQ sauce across the ribs and then create a little boat in the foil and add about 4-5 oz of Dr. Pepper, red wine or beer (personal preference here). Seal up the foil around the ribs without tearing it. Place back on the smoker for about 2 hours @ 225degrees. or until the ribs reach 205degrees. You can also see the meat pull back from the ends of the ribs....good indication that the ribs are done....take the ribs out of the foil and place back in the smoker for about 15 minutes...lightly cover with your favorite BBQ sauce....slice up and serve..Enjoy!
